Tennitis
A common problem tinnitus affects about 15 to 20 percent of people.
Tennitis. Most of the time it comes on gradually. Tinnitus isn t a condition itself it s a symptom of an underlying condition such as age related hearing loss ear injury or a circulatory system disorder. Tinnitus is the perception of sound when no corresponding external sound is present. Tinnitus pronounced ti ni tis or ringing in the ears is the sensation of hearing ringing buzzing hissing chirping whistling or other sounds.
Tinnitus can be caused by medication diseases of the ear trauma or over exposure to loud noised. Treatments include medications and sound therapy. The noise can be intermittent or continuous. Tinnitus is a ringing throbbing buzzing or clicking sound in the ears.
The sound may be soft or loud low or high pitched and appear to be coming from one or both ears. Rarely unclear voices or music are heard. Earwax foreign bodies or hairs in the ear canal can rub against the eardrum causing a variety of sounds. The varying sounds have been described as whistling.
In many cases the cause of tinnitus is never found. While often described as a ringing it may also sound like a clicking buzzing hiss or roaring.
